A discussion with the co-creator of The Spiderwick Chronicles, the person behind The Mortal Instruments and the author of Pretty Monsters? Don't mind if we do! The Booksmith and Small Beer Press present a YA extravaganza to benefit Franciscan Hospital for Children.

Attendees can email their questions for the authors in advance to hollycassandrakelly@gmail.com. The three authors will also take questions from the audience. Additionally, there will be giveaways and all three authors will sign books.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the front register of the Brookline Booksmith or by calling the store at 617-566-6660.

Since 1949, Franciscan Hospital for Children has pioneered clinical, therapeutic and educational programs for children with a variety of disabilities. Through the years, as one of the nation's largest pediatric rehabilitation hospitals, they have expanded their complement of programs and services for children with special health care needs, as well as for children from the local community. Their continuum of care includes inpatient, residential, educational, surgical, outpatient and home care programs, a combination of services for children that is hard to find anywhere else.

Franciscan Hospital for Children promotes the integrity and well being of children and their caregivers through their quality of care. This allows each child the opportunity to achieve the maximum potential in an atmosphere of respect, compassion and dignity.

Through their family-centered programs, their physicians, nurses, clinicians and educators are committed to helping children reach their full potential.
