Development and effectiveness of e-content as pedagogical tools in educational psychology
Modern world has witnessed a change in its every sphere by the way of various revolutions like Green Revolution, Industrial Revolution and today, the world is the spectator of another kind of revolution, the revolution in the field of information and communication. Because of technological advancements, the world is getting the shape of global village where no country can develop aloof. Change in education is the mother of all changes because every component of life is influenced by education. It is the need that education has to address itself to this revolution which is fast taking place and engulfing every sphere of life. Hall (1996) explored that the impact of American corporations is profound and is explicitly evident by the increased investments in technology over the past three decades. In 1970, approximately 5% of corporate capital expenditures were for computers and data processing equipments to improve the productivity of human capital. By 1977, nearly 50% of corporate capital expenditures were spent to make the sector hightech. Technology is the key for progress and prosperity of education. It enables the easy flow of knowledge and facilitates quick decisions. The quality of educational services now depends upon the well developed technology.
