Celebrating Kwanzaa

Celebrating Kwanzaa

Happy Kwanzaa!

This holiday was created in 1966 in the midst of the Civil Rights Movement to uplift the culture and heritage of African American people. From December 26 through January 1st each day centers a different principle. Emerging from the Pan-African movement, this holiday is an invitation to reflect on the progress that has been made in the ongoing fight for racial equity, and how far there is still to go. This collection was designed with titles that represent each of the seven principles of Kwanzaa.
