In order to do our part to keep our staff, customers, family, and world safe during the pandemic, Brookline Booksmith’s physical location is currently closed.

On Monday, May 25th, Brookline Booksmith will begin to fulfill online and phone orders from our store again. As booksellers, we are excited and eager to get back into our beloved store. As your neighbors and friends, every one of us is fully committed to following every official health and safety measure, doing everything we can to make sure that we are not putting anyone in the community at risk.

Starting this Monday we will offer curbside pickup, and staff members will be available to answer phone calls, from 10am-4pm daily. Please call us at 617-566-6660. Face coverings are a must for curbside pickup, as well as appropriate social distancing while you wait! Whether you are ordering online, or over the phone, all payment must be made before you come to the store. We will be unable to complete any transactions at the door. If you purchased a Brookline Booksmith gift card during this time, good news! Gift cards will once again be welcome as payment for online and phone orders.

As not only our store but the entire book industry gets back up to speed, there may be some delays in book deliveries. Please bear with us. We are currently about 2 business days behind in processing online orders.

To those of you who have become a Booksmith Member, your benefits will begin once we are able to invite customers inside the store. While we don’t yet know when that day will be, a welcome email will arrive in the coming days with more details about your membership.
