If you wish to cancel your order, please email email@example.com or call us at 617-566-6660 as soon as possible. If we have already processed and shipped your order, you will need to wait until you receive the merchandise to return it.
We accept returns of books in good, re-sellable condition purchased at brooklinebooksmith.com within 60 days of sale. We request a receipt or proof of purchase to accompany your return.
Our return policy does not apply to sale items or gift cards. These items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Please follow these three steps when returning a purchase:
Step 1 – Contact the Store
Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the store at 617-566-6660, to alert the store that the return is on its way. Please include the order number if you have it.
Step 2 – Return the Item
Either return the item(s) to the store in person, or ship it/them to:

You are responsible for paying for all shipping costs for your returned item. Please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items of value.
Step 3 – Look for Your Refund
We will notify you by email and refund your credit card upon receiving your item(s). Please allow 3-5 business days for processing. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
